The Pisces full moon took us deep within, and initiated the process of rebirth. Since then we have been moving through all that which it stirred up, as well as the effects of multiple planets being in retrograde. We’ve really been given a great big nudge from the Universe to take a pause and really evaluate where we’re at and where we are headed. This meant we tuned in to our bigger dreams, but also that fear narratives and limiting beliefs rose up to the surface. But this was all part of the process to show us what needs to change, and now the Virgo new moon comes to ground us and prepare us for the shifts that are to take place.
Virgo is organised and practical, and focuses on the bigger picture. Represented by the virgin, Virgo reminds us of fertility and potentiality. She also comes to give us a sense of drive and motivation, being ambitious and relentless. This is the energy we are needing to draw on as we move through any shifts, particularly if things have been trying recently or for anyone who has been doubting their path. This new moon is a messenger brought to say keep going. The new beginning is here, it’s already happening - we just need to trust ourselves.
This is a strong message that comes through under this new moon. To trust our insights and intuition, to trust our gut and the vibes that we feel. If we do not trust ourselves we will only lose sight or continue to feel uncertain along the way.
The Virgo new moon says have trust and patience. If you rush and act impulsively now, it could do more harm than good. Now more than ever we need to stay grounded in our faith.
The numerology of this new moon is 22, mirroring that of the Leo new moon which came before it. This is interesting in that we may well be reconnecting with projects we wanted to initiate then and didn’t or finding ourselves levelling up in some things we have been working on. 22 is about turning dreams into reality after all. 22 comes here to remind us that our goals are worthy and now is not the time to falter or let fears get the better of us.
Steady progress is the overarching theme with this new moon. Remember that the stronger your foundations, the greater longevity the things you build will have.
This is the last new moon before the equinox and the eclipse season, so it is important that we utilise this energy to ground ourselves and prepare for the shifts and transformations that are to come.
