Cancer New Moon 25.06.25

I’ll start by saying the numerology of this new moon is 22, a number that speaks of ascension, spiritual alignment and balance. We’ve been on a journey of unravelling over recent months more intensely than we have in a while, and now Cancer asks us to go even deeper into our hearts to embody the truth that resides in there. 

We’ve been peeling back masks, old belief systems and stories about who we are and who we need to be; and as we look underneath all of that we have to be radically honest with ourselves when we reflect on if the way we are living and expressing ourselves is actually in alignment with our truth. 

This new moon is about integrity. Not just - are you the same person when no one else is around, but - are you consciously choosing behaviours and actions that resonate with the more authentic version of you that is being reborn? 

Cancer is watery and deeply intuitive, and so we are drawn further inwards under this moon to see not just the surface level, but the less obvious though not so subtle subconscious patterns that are leading us into cycles of self sabotage. This is about looking at your energy as a whole. You may be craving that big breakthrough or expansion in some area of your life, but are you energetically open to actually receive it? Or are you still armouring your heart because the bigness of it all feels terrifying? 

If there are choices that need to be made as you move forward from here, the best course of action is to take a moment of stillness, a pause to breathe and check in so you can drop back into your heart and ensure you make decisions from that place, because the fears that are operating beneath the surface are much louder when you’re on the threshold of your next level. 

There’s no doubt that something big is shifting under this new moon and though it may feel like a challenge, even a death of sorts; what is dying in you is simply the remnants of an old internalised system that is ready to be released. Don’t let fearful thoughts stop you from Knowing that everything is as it should be. 

Just like the crab with its protective shell, you are seeing the patterns that you developed to keep you safe, but now you realise that those patterns are no longer protecting you, but keeping your big goals and dreams at arms length. Your system will fight to not let these patterns go, so you must draw on your courage and strength now to move beyond those limiting parameters. 

You’re adjusting to a new field of light and it is crucial now that you stay anchored in the pure intentions of your heart. With Jupiter active in our sky, conjunct with the sun just the day before this new moon, we can expect to be opening the door to limitless potential, luck and success. If we stay focused on those intentions now, not getting lost in our ego mind about how and when things should happen; it is certain that the projects and endeavours we are working on now will expand in beautiful ways.
