1. You have to be best friends and have fun together. Laughter bonds you in the most special way.
2. Love without commitment and effort will not sustain a healthy relationship. You both have to do the work.
3. Your partner cannot read your mind (mot of the time 😅) - VOICE your feelings healthily.
4. You have to take responsibility for your own feelings; placing blame on the other person is not a path to resolution.

7. Making assumptions about someone else's feelings or intentions is a quick way to create a lot of misunderstanding. When in doubt, ASK.
8. It's up to you to create the space in which your partner feels safe to open up to you.
9. Not consciously maintaining balance can lead to resentment. Speak up when things feel off kilter.
