Aries New Moon & Solar Eclipse 29.03.25

Every year when we reach Aries season, we begin a new cycle in our lives - a new year in alignment with nature and the cosmos. But this year feels different. This year feels like a huge cosmic reset button has been pushed and we are all being called forward into a potent and abundant new timeline. 

I think having the Venus star point happen right around the same time just added this power and intensity to this new era like none we have seen in a while. Venus has kicked off a brand new 8 year cycle in our lives connected to love, pleasure, money, travel and all thing Venusian. So there are new beginnings on so many levels here. 

I find it particularly beautiful that it was Venus who has been a strong undercurrent during this shift since we are in the year of the snake - the divine feminine, the year I predicted that we would see a lot more women breaking free from the system, working within the area of their purpose and passion and entering the entrepreneurial world. 

For those that don’t know, the journey Venus has been on has had her die as an evening star then rebirth as a morning star and what this represents is something like the death of the ‘good girl’ and the awakening of the dark feminine. It feels so clear to me that Venus is here now to support us in leaning into our power, being unapologetic about who we are and what we want, and reclaiming our sovereignty in this world. 

And honestly, the cards that have come through as I sit here writing this really just re-iterate this story. 

First of all we have the 2 of cups which to me is representative of this exchange of energy when we share our gifts with others, but also the power of collaboration - projects involving this approach could be particularly fruitful because we are being called to rise not only in our individual power but also in sisterhood. 

Then there is judgement - pictured as an angel in the sky with naked women below praising her and it just feels like this is Venus calling the women to rise in their authenticity and expose more of themselves without fear. The women are standing naked as though they have just been freed from the boxes they stand in. They are almost like coffins, painting the picture of being reborn - an energy that is very apparent right now. 

The lady in the 7 of swords walks towards Judgement, as though she’s done with fighting to be heard and giving her energy away to anything that doesn’t serve her, and she’s going her own way now - to live life on her terms, by her rules. 

Of course the high priestess is here too - a reminder of your true intuitive power and a further reminder that now is the time where you must have complete faith in yourself and trust where you feel called to go. The high priestess is balanced - she's anchored into her feminine wisdom but she’s methodical and clear about what she is doing. This comes from a deep sense of inner trust. 

The three of wands and knight of swords are also here, of course showing that we stand at the threshold to our new timeline. The door to your future is wide open, and the knight of swords is that energy of determination, drive and momentum. This knight is speeding towards that 3 of wands, representing change happening quickly and this sense of no longer holding back and instead going fully for what you want. 

The numerology of this moon and solar eclipse is 5, which is the number of change. It feels in perfect alignment with the energy because that is exactly where we are at. Life beyond this point will be forever changed. There is no going back to the old, this is our time to claim the life we have been dreaming of. 

Aries of course brings the fire to support us with this. Aries is an energy that can be seen as egoic because it’s the baby of the zodiac right, so as a baby it hasn’t a concern for what others think and do, Aries just goes their own way. This doesn’t have to be a negative energy, but instead something we can utilise now - to stop dimming to make others comfortable, to stop self abandoning, and for once to put your needs and desires first.
